Decreasing SPAM
By using one or more of the
following techniques, you can decrease your SPAM intake dramatically:
Protect Your E-mail
Addresses - It's an Approach!
- Always create addresses
with a mixture of numbers and letters.
- Avoid typical prefixes
such as info, contact, support and sales.
- Create 'junk addresses'
for use on public message boards, in chat rooms, etc.
- Share your business
addresses with business acquaintances only.
- Create personal
addresses for communication with friends and family only.
- Use technical methods
such as E-mail filters, Secret Passwords and Form to E-mail scripts on your
web site for communication rather than passing out an actual address.
