Master Johnny Morales Master Instructor (4th-Dan Black-Belt) |
Biography:
Master Morales began training in marital arts in 1980, receiving his Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do from Grandmaster J.Y. Song (1984). He achieved the 4th-Dan Black Belt Level in Tae Kwon Do in 2001. He also holds a 1st-Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate.
Master Morales is owner and manager of several companies, including Florida Tae Kwon Do Center. He has a variety of professional experiences in personnel management, financial book-keeping, business tax preparation, advertising & marketing strategies, and business computing.
Master Morales graduated from Cooper City High School, and received an Associate in Arts Degree from Broward Community College. He also earned an Associate in Science Degree and a Degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, and over the years has cooked for a number of Broward County restaurants.
Master Morales' teaching experience includes:
Senior Instructor at All American Karate in Cooper City (1995-1998).
Senior Instructor at Ultimate Karate Marital Arts in Davie (1998-1999).
Master Morales' Martial Arts honors include:
1998 Induction to International Black Belt Hall of Fame (International Martial Arts Association, Inc.), presented by Grandmaster John C. Kanzler.
1999 Pinnacle Award from to International Black Belt Hall of Fame (International Martial Arts Association, Inc.), presented by Grandmaster John C. Kanzler.
Master Morales' tournament achievements include:
1999 U.S. 2nd-Place in Fighting at the U.S. International Sport Karate Association (I.S.K.A.) Open Championships.
1992 U.S. 2nd-Place in Fighting and 3rd-Place in Forms at U.S. Martial Arts (now I.S.K.A.) Open Championships.
1985 U.S. Gold-Medal in Gyroogi (sparring) at the U.S. National Tae Kwon Do Collegiate Championships Tournament.
