Using Secured Socket Layer (SSL) Note: In order to use these SSL features, you must have your SSL digital certificate installed on our server. (See Secure Socket Layer) Once you are set-up to use SSL (with your own certificate or ours) use the following instructions as reference for utilizing the secured socket layer: To Establish an SSL Connection: Simply add the letter "s" after the "http" in the URL address of the document you wish to be secured. Our server recognizes this "s" as a request for a secued connection and will treat any information exchanged during that connection as encrypted material. Examples:
To Retrieve Secured Information from the Server: We recommend you save the information retrieved in secure mode to a text file on the server. Then, retrieve the information from this file using a secure connection yourself, using a URL similar to one of the following:
