Your Site is Locked

Symptoms
Your PC crashes or your connection is lost during the publishing process, when you reboot or reconnect and attempt to publish again, you are prevented from doing so.

Cause
FrontPage creates a lock file (service.lck) when you publish. If you lost your connection at the wrong moment FrontPage does not clear the lock file.

Resolution
Reboot your computer and try to publish
again.

If this still does not resolve your problem, send an e-mail. We will manually clear your lock file(service.lck).

Note:  This issue does not impact HTTP availability of your site, only your ability to publish.
