Multifaceted, she is also a successful author and has been the arts correspondent for CBS Sunday Morning since 1981. She will be joined by the peerless Jacques Thibaud String Trio, which is making its third appearance at the Fullerton Friends of Music. The Premiere Trio has electrified audiences throughout Southern California with their brilliant music-making and, as a recipient of the 2002/2003 President's Initiative Grant, has presented a series of recitals and master classes. Ernest Salem, the trio's violinist, has performed with many Southern California orchestras as well as in concerts and recitals across America. Cellist Bongshin Ko has appeared worldwide as a soloist and chamber musician collaborating with many notable artists. Eduardo Delgado, pianist of the trio, has consistently been lauded for his fiery intensity by audiences and critics alike. |
