I was just wondering how do two people make a relationship of this nature work? In theory, it should be no different... but in reality, it's harder. I've never been more aware of my color since I've started my relationship 4 years ago... and it does make me miserable but I brave a face and stand my ground when all I really want to do is hide. It's reflexive to want to let go of your partner's hand or waist when you walk in public... all these little "nuances"... are making this relationship between a german male and indian female very very difficult.
