I totally agree - it's frustrating, but I guess I can understand why the system has to be this way. Don't forget, too, that Amercia is quite different than France when it comes to legal matters and issues of the heart. Legally, love doesn't exist, so why should they make allowances for it? Know what I mean? It's silly because we all know that love is most important. If you ask me, all decisions concerning people should be made with this fact in mind. Of course people will fall in love! Shouldn't we structure things to encourage it??
