You're righht - the immigration paperwork is a NIGHTMARE. Usually after one has gone through it, it is simply too painful to explain it to someone else. If anyone has the energy to write down some tips, I'd be happy to dedicate a page to them on this site! Thanks - Shannon

Shannon, both Christophe and I are curious to know whether or not the U.S. recognizes weddings in France. I would like to marry him in France, and then we would most likely claim the U.S. as our residence. I assume from your pictures (which are beautiful, BTW!!) that you were only married once in France, not having to repeat the ceremony for legal purposes in the U.S. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thank you from both of us!! Sincerely, Theresa and Christophe

Need suggestions on where to stay when my wife and I visit Mont-Saint-Michel in April 1999. We will be in Paris for 7 days, then travel to Mont-Saint-Michel staying only one night. Bed and Breakfast would be great...we do not speak much french but are adventerous. Would you also recommend we drive from Paris, as we are also interested in Normandy and other sights in the area before we head back to Paris to fly home to our state of Atl., GA. Thanks for any info.
