Mary Elizabeth Montague on the Southern Irish Coast, County Wexford in 1999

Mary Elizabeth Montague was born in 1985 in Cortland, New York, the daughter of James Holmes Montague and Beth Gordon Montague.  She is currently an honors student at Corcoran High School in Syracuse, and has won varsity letters in soccer and softball.  She loves soccer, softball, camping, hiking, and Irish Dance.  Mary is a dancer with the Drumcliffe School of Irish Dance, training under the tutelage of Edward Murphy, A.D.C.R.G., and World Champion Michael Galvin, T.C.R.G.  Mary has won a number of Irish Feis competitions, and in 1993 became the youngest Central New York dancer ever to qualify for the World Irish Dance Championships (Oireachtas Rince Na Cruinne).  Mary is a North American Champion, and has competed three times in the World Championships, most recently in 1999.
