Julie Mary Quigley was born on July 21, 1963 in Syracuse. She's a 1981graduate of Cardinal Mooney HS in St. Petersburg, FL. Julie earned her BS in Nursing from Villanova University in 1985. In May of 1993, Julie received her Masters in Nursing from Seton Hall University. Today Julie works as a Nurse Practitioner at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, NJ.

On July 9, 1988, Julie married Philip T. Smith III (also Villanova 1985) at the St. Thomas Chapel at Villanova. They live in Shrewsbury, NJ with their two boys, Philip IV (b. 12/30/92) and Thomas (b. 12/3/96).
