Kristen Anne Pfohl was born in Syracuse in 1954.  She attended St. Ann's Elementary School, graduated from Corcoran High School (1972), and attended Onondaga Community College.  Since 1973, Kristen has been working in the banking business; today, she is the an Assistant Vice-President of the M&T Bank, Inc., in Syracuse.

Kristen met fellow student Robert Rickert at Corcoran High School.  Robert went on to earn his B.S. from Niagara University in 1974.  They married in 1976.  Robert has been in the banking business since 1976, serving most recently with the Cayuga Bank. 

The Rickert's reside in Cicero New York at 6067 Owlwood Drive.  They enjoyed the challenge of building the house from the basement up. While it was interesting living in a 3rd floor apartment with an almost trained puppy during the five months of the building process.  The deal closed February 14th (yes Bob is still the romantic!) 1996!  By the way ...the new home deal all came about by the purchase of one very cute  (spoiled) poodle,  yes I still don't like poodles but Pumpkin is special.  

 They've raised one child: Courtney (a brown-belt in Tae Kwon Do, and a college student at Oswego State).
