Frank Clark, son of Edgar Raymond Clark and Edith Bell Clark, was born in Washington, DC, but was raised in Syracuse. He graduated from Pebble Hill High School in 1937, and from Yale University in 1941 with a degree in industrial engineering. Frank entered the U.S. Army in 1941, serving in the Army Transport Corps in India. He met Anne Clark at a 1945 neighborhood party in Syracuse; they married in 1947.
Frank has been a tax accountant since the 1950's, and continues today working with his nephew Jim Montague in Clark-Montague Associates, Inc.
